Description of Research Focus:
My research interests are in the area of young childrens development
of health related behaviors. A current research project relates to the
study of decision making of parents in the use of over the counter medications.
Findings of this project will have implications to contribute to the study
of how young children develop meaning and are socialized toward self-care.
My focus is on the socialization of both illness and health behaviors
and decision processes related to them.
