Professor Littlefield’s research experience has been in evaluation of nursing care and in evaluation of new and evolving care delivery systems. Her most recently published research is an evaluation of care using satisfaction measures. (Health Locus of Control, Anxiety and Depression) She also has conducted program evaluation of women’s clinics and educational programs. Her academic preparation included administrative course work and she currently teaches multidisciplinary and nursing courses in health service administration. She has been a member of a research team examining management practices and their relationship to staff satisfaction, and a project to analyze Wisconsin's health care workforce
