Description of Research Focus:

I study complementary (non-drug) therapies for symptom management in persons with cancer. My current work involves two areas of focus, (1) understanding individual difference variables that influence the effects of specific non-drug therapies, and (2) research on a patient-centered delivery system that allows individuals to select and self-administer non-drug therapies as needed to manage their symptoms.
