Description of Research Focus:

Central venous access device related infections in children with cancer: Retrospective Review of experience at one Children’s hospital (with Barbara Byrne, MS, RN, CPNP and associates). Health issues of children and teens in a summer camp setting. Medication administration in one residential camp’s summer programs. Chronic illness in infants/children: impact on health, development, child & family; child & family coping; nursing interventions.  Family-centered care philosophy: concepts, implementation.
