Board of Regents Approves Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Degree
Madison, WI – The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents has approved a proposal for the UW– Madison School of Nursing’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. The program prepares nurses for leadership roles in advanced nursing practice. Students prepare for roles as clinical nurse specialists or nurse practitioners in adult/gerontology, pediatrics or psychiatric mental health. Students interested in dual preparation as an advanced practice nurse and nurse educator may add a nursing education focus. More »
