Patricia Flatley Brennan Professor Brennan's pioneering research in nursing informatics examines how we can use the Internet, home-based computer systems, and specialized information resources to promote self-care and disease management skills among patients and their family caregivers. Her research lab links the School of Nursing with the College of Engineering; providing the opportunity for students to design and develop sophisticated computer-based tools for consumer health.
