Nadine Nehls Nadine Nehls' research is focused on: 1) women with severe and persistent mental illness and 2) nursing education. Her major research interests include community-based care for women who have histories of trauma, mental health, and substance use problems, and innovative educational curriculum and instruction for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Professor Nehls uses an interpretive, hermeneutic research approach.
