Private philanthropy means the difference between maintenance of a great university and the evolution of an extraordinary one. Currently, the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Nursing is undertaking a capital campaign to construct a new Nursing Science Center building. The following giving options allow you to direct your philanthropy to specific opportunities that support the School of Nursing and its students:
Dean's Fund for Excellence - This fund provides an annual source of support to achieve the School's highest priorities. (Fund 1264128)
Nurses' Alumni Organization Scholarship Fund – Each year more than ten nursing students receive scholarship support thanks to alumni generosity. The UW Foundation matches gifts to this fund up to $10,000 a year. (Fund 12640609)
Valencia Prock Research Fund – In honor of Emerita Dean Prock, this fund provides key funding for nursing research projects and graduate student support. (Fund 1264690)
Littlefield Leadership Lecture – National leaders come to campus each fall to inspire and educate students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members in this free lecture in honor of Emerita Dean Vivian Littlefield. (Fund 12642784)
Florence Blake Professorship in Child-Family Nursing – Proceeds from this endowment will be used to further the nursing care of children and families. (Fund 12644806)
Nursing Science Center – These gifts will help create a new home for nursing on the UW-Madison campus. (Fund 12642178)
School of Nursing Community Funds – This fund supports community-building events and activities among the staff, faculty and students within the School of Nursing. (Fund 12644996)
