Beta Eta Chapter-at-Large

Beta Eta Chapter-at-Large serves the Madison community and consists of students and professionals from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Edgewood College. Currently, Beta-Eta boasts over 1600 active members.

Sigma Theta Tau is an international honor society aimed at improving health worldwide by enhancing nursing’s scientific base of practice. Considered the "Phi Beta Kappa" of nursing, it operates through the core principles of scholarship and leadership. The aim of Sigma Theta Tau is to develop, disseminate, and use knowledge to broaden nursing practice.

Sigma Theta Tau boasts more than a quarter of a million members with chapters in all 50 states and many foreign countries, and continues to expand.

To create a global community of nurses who lead in using knowledge, scholarship, service and learning to improve the health of the world’s peoples.
