Beta Eta Chapter-At-Large

President's Message | Board Member Biographies

Welcome to the Beta Eta-at-Large Web site for Sigma Theta Tau International! We warmly invite your participation in our chapter, and extend our service to you as a clinician, nurse scholar and leader.

Your board of directors is active in promoting the growth of our local chapter through annual membership inductions, bi-annual educational offerings with regionally and nationally celebrated nurse leaders and scholars, as well as research and clinical scholarship awards. We welcome your suggestions for other service offerings as we strive develop program offerings and increase regional collaboration with our sister chapters throughout Wisconsin, North & South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Manitoba, Canada, through the leadership of Maureen Greene, our Regional IV Coordinator.

Our relationship with you as members of Beta Eta is of critical importance to our sustainability as a chapter. As we choose activities to promote collaborative service, knowledge, community, and research endeavors, your input is solicited and considered invaluable. Please entertain becoming active as a member of our board, voicing your interests, and/or sharing your talents so that many may benefit. Whether it is formal board service or a time-limited activity, know that we welcome your participation and will support you with mentorship.

I look forward to getting to know more of you over the next two years, and hope that you will join our efforts in moving Beta Eta-at-Large Chapter forward as a positive force for change in nursing practice, education, and scholarly work here in Madison and the surrounding region. Please feel free to contact me directly with program suggestions and/or your interest in becoming involved.

Look forward to hearing from you!
